Is your camping checklist ready?

Don’t let your camping trip get ruined by not having the right supplies.

Here is a simple camping checklist I recommend you use.

  1. Tent; big enough for your camping gear and loved ones
  2. Sleeping Bags designed for camping in various climates, especially at Smugglers Notch State Park campsite. We all know that the Northeastern Campsites the weather can change on short notice.
  3. Get yourself a Klymit V Lightweight Sleeping Pads to add some extra cushion under your sleeping bag. You don’t want to wake up with a stiff back.
  4. Ready-to-eat snack packs with tons of nuts for energy.
  5. Weather-appropriate clothing for Stowe VT climate; all-weather boots, lightweight rain jackets, sweatshirts, sandals, camping socks, etc
  6. Basic toiletries and hygiene products
  7. If you are going to catch fish whether is a named brand like Lakco  tackle or a generic brand, just make sure you use that is right for you.
  8. I highly recommend that you check your old fishing reels if you have one because some reels get rusty. If they are too rusty, I recommend you take a look at KastKing Sharky III fishing reel. It will pull in a 30-pound trophy fish. Plus it is relativity cheap.
  9. Fishing Lures for catching fish in shallow and semi-deep waters. Make sure you do your research before you go.
  10. Fishing Line; fishing line loses its strength over time. You should get fishing line before you try to catch a fish.
  11. Mosquito Repellent for those pesky bugs that never seem to go away.
  12. I highly recommend you bring Fishing Lantern with extra batteries if you plan to fish at night. Certain fish are attracted to lights.
  13. Glacier Hiking water bottles that are insulated and vacuum sealed. Plus it can sustain some level of intense activity.

Recommend you get yourself a Survival Kit. They are versatile and very useful in odd unexpected situations.
